Chipton-Ross is seeking a skilled Integration Tool Engineer to contribute to a dynamic project in El Segundo, California.
This role will be instrumental in supporting the Tooling Department's efforts across various programs within the aerospace industry. You will collaborate closely with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, program operations leadership, business management, and scheduling teams to ensure seamless integration of tools and processes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the engineering and technical aspects of tools used in aircraft component manufacturing.
- Work collaboratively with technical leaders and an Integrated Program Team (IPT) to achieve program objectives related to cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations to customers, management, and other stakeholders.
- Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with Tool Design Engineering, in-house fabrication teams, and external vendors.
- Execute Control Account Management (CAM) duties, including tracking budget actuals against predictions, financial performance against the EVM baseline, and participating in CAM status calls.
- Contribute to the development and execution of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), ensuring alignment with program requirements.
- Coordinate Change Requests with the Business Management and Scheduling team as needed.
- Support logistics efforts by generating staffing requirements, documentation, and forecasts.
- Facilitate internal meetings to ensure staffing needs meet the established baseline.
- Conduct schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential program cost and scheduling risks.
- Provide comprehensive project monitoring, including requirements traceability, SOW shredding, facilitation of team meetings, tracking and closing action items, and presentation creation for various leadership levels.
