About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Group Benefits Solutions team in Corporate Finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing monthly financial analysis and reporting of Disability premiums and ASO Fees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly analysis of Disability premiums and ASO fees, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Coordinate with matrix partners within GBS Finance and Revenue Management for fluctuation questions.
  • Facilitate the recording of monthly and quarterly journal entries in the SAP general ledger and the FPSL Sub-ledger.
  • Prepare reconciliations of manual FPSL Disability adjustments and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Maintain documentation of internal controls processes in compliance with Model Audit Rule (MAR) and Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Support recurring internal and external audits and financial exams.
  • Participate in special projects as needed, either as a subject matter expert or team leader.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 6 or more years of Accounting/Finance experience, preferably in public accounting or insurance-related experience.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and evaluate premiums and ASO fees for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Motivated, proactive self-starter.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $95,000-$162,500.
  • Overtime eligible: Exempt.
  • Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes.
  • Sales bonus eligible: No.
