The Senior Finance Leader will take charge of directing and supervising the financial functions and reporting of the organization, including annual budgeting, financial assessments, and cash flow management.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in healthcare finance, ledger oversight, consolidations, and advanced Excel capabilities. A minimum of 3 years in a comparable position is required.

Job Responsibilities

Key Duties:

  • Oversee and manage all financial operations of the organization, including monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and cash flow oversight.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and guidance on decision-making matters impacting the organization (i.e., growth, new markets, evaluation of potential partnerships, employee benefits, retirement plans, and investments).
  • Establish and manage financial controls and procedures, ensuring the organization’s financial systems are robust, compliant, and supportive of current activities and future growth.
  • Lead and coordinate the preparation of financial statements, reports, special analyses, and informational reports.
  • Manage and supervise ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Address healthcare accounting matters in accordance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Oversee the financial consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data, develop financial models for decision support, and enhance financial reporting processes.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to understand and support strategic business needs and provide financial solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management roles, ideally within the technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial planning software.
  • Experience in healthcare finance and ledger management.
  • Knowledge of financial consolidation processes and associated accounting standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in financial modeling and report creation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
