Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst for Global Procurement and Logistics will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Manager and collaborating closely with key members of the Global Procurement and Operations teams, as well as the Manufacturing Finance team and Corporate Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the annual budget and monthly forecasts for various cost centers, maintaining continuous communication with cost center owners to stay informed about operational changes.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes for raw materials, intermediates, freight costs, tariffs, and other relevant expenses, utilizing analytical insights to evaluate pricing submissions and assess variances.
- Utilize data from SAP and other reporting tools to provide real-time analytical support to procurement and operations teams.
- Offer problem-solving assistance to stakeholders in areas such as invoice processing and budgetary decisions.
- Collaborate with other finance functions to ensure procurement and logistics initiatives are integrated into business planning and financial outcomes.
- Compile, analyze, and present meaningful financial data from diverse global sources.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for routine processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, particularly with the implementation of SAP S/4HANA.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong data analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and manage varying workloads.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
- Demonstrated integrity and values that align with organizational trust.
