  • Financial Reporting: Develop and support financial reporting solutions using JD Edwards tools and other reporting platforms, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial data.
  • User Training: Create user training materials and conduct training sessions for finance and accounting staff to maximize the effectiveness of JD Edwards functionality.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful delivery of JD Edwards projects, including upgrades, implementations, and system enhancements, while maintaining alignment with business timelines and goals.
  • Integration and Compliance: Work closely with IT, finance, and other business units to ensure that JD Edwards Finance solutions integrate effectively with other modules (e.g., Procurement, Supply Chain) and systems (e.g., external reporting tools), and comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • JD Edwards Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a JD Edwards Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, with a focus on Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, etc.).
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Professional certifications in JD Edwards, accounting, or project management (e.g., CPA, PMP) are desirable.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth functional knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance modules, including configuration, customization, and best practices for implementation and support.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues, propose solutions, and drive process improvements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with finance teams, IT professionals, and business stakeholders.
  • Integration and Compliance: Familiarity with JD Edwards integration points and the ability to work with technical teams on data interfaces, reporting, and custom development.
  • Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships, gathering requirements, and ensuring business needs are met.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • JD Edwards Upgrade and Cloud Migration Experience: Experience with JD Edwards upgrades, cloud migrations, and system integration projects.
  • Financial Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of financial compliance regulations such as SOX and IFRS.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or other complex industries.
  • ERP System Knowledge: Familiarity with complementary ERP systems, tools, or financial reporting platforms.
