LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a dynamic manufacturing organization in search of a skilled Financial Operations Manager. This role is pivotal as the company integrates a new ERP system aimed at streamlining its financial processes.
The Financial Operations Manager will oversee all financial activities within the manufacturing site, focusing primarily on cost management. This position demands a proactive approach to managing the plant's financial operations, ensuring precise financial reporting, and assisting the CFO with various corporate accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will also be instrumental in the successful deployment and enhancement of the new ERP system. You will lead a Staff Accountant and report directly to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of cost management within the manufacturing site, including product costing, inventory assessment, and variance analysis.
- Manage general ledger accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to corporate policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insights and recommendations to the CFO.
- Engage in the implementation of the new ERP system, offering expertise and ensuring seamless integration of financial processes.
- Supervise and mentor the Staff Accountant, providing direction and support in daily financial operations.
- Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA certification is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting, with a strong focus on cost management.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP system implementation is a plus.
- Willingness to work onsite, 5 days a week.
Compensation Package:
Annual salary range: $110,000 - $115,000
Benefits include M/D/V, 401(K), and opportunities for professional advancement.
