Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages the execution of programs and associated hardware on mainframe and/or distributed computing environments to ensure optimal service levels and system uptime.
  • Coordinates production schedules, ensuring that necessary job control language, operational documentation, and data resources are readily accessible.
  • Facilitates job initialization, identifying issues, escalating concerns, and implementing solutions as needed.
  • Communicates operational status effectively to enable prompt action in response to service interruptions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
  • Alternatively, relevant professional experience may be considered.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT production and operational support.

Role Complexity:

  • Intermediate level position, providing support across various platforms.
  • Participates in multiple projects as a team member and may take the lead on projects of moderate complexity.
  • May mentor junior technical personnel.
