Position SummaryAs the Senior Manager of Customer Strategy, you will collaborate with a team of skilled marketers dedicated to assisting Merkle clients in achieving their business objectives.
In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Customer Strategy. A profound understanding of our clients' businesses and strategic goals is essential. You will recognize the significance of building strong relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to both the client and the Merkle account team. Your ability to blend analytical and creative thinking will be crucial in addressing client challenges. As a leader, your communication skills will be vital in articulating strategies that inspire belief in your ideas and drive them to execution.
Key Responsibilities- Guide the creation of strategic omni-channel marketing initiatives.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in digital marketing and customer relationship management (CRM).
- Stay informed on current marketing trends, emerging technology solutions, and competitive strategies, translating these insights into innovative marketing concepts for clients.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key client contacts and executives.
- Deliver substantial client value through a combination of best-practice solutions and original thinking.
- Collaborate with team leadership across account management, operations, creative, and analytics to transform ideas into actionable plans.
- Identify key data points and metrics to demonstrate the impact of our strategies on client business outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 7+ years of experience in data-driven marketing, particularly in CRM, email, and media.
- 3+ years of experience in an agency or consulting environment.
- Proven experience in developing solutions to support the introduction of new services to clients.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and research tools.
- Experience in translating data analysis into actionable marketing strategies and presentations, with proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working within a matrixed organization with a high degree of autonomy.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% as needed.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375, influenced by various factors including experience and skills. A range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off, are also available.
