The Global Environment, Sustainability, Health, and Safety Team, alongside the Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager, plays a crucial role in championing the health and safety of our workforce, ensuring environmental compliance, and executing our sustainability strategy.

The Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager and their team are accountable for devising and implementing initiatives that are integral to the company's environmental, health, and safety goals, aligning with Catalent's core purpose, values, and workforce strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the formulation of a Sustainability strategy aimed at reducing Catalent's environmental impact and identifying sustainability initiatives.
  • Oversee consultants delivering sustainability services.
  • Assess sustainability risks and propose suitable mitigation strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance Catalent's sustainability credentials.
  • Provide design recommendations to sites to elevate sustainability performance.
  • Manage the execution of sustainability projects.
  • Prepare reports and participate in discussions with senior and executive management regarding sustainability outcomes.
  • Support our Environment, Social, Governance (or Corporate Responsibility) reporting initiatives.
  • Anticipate up to 20% global travel annually.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; a focus in Sustainability or Engineering is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks such as BREEAM, LEED, WELL, etc.
  • Demonstrated success in data-driven program design and execution within a large, multinational organization.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk regularly, with occasional lifting of 0-15 pounds.
