OVERVIEW
The Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of finished products to fulfill customer demands for consumer goods throughout our operational network.

This role leads a team of managers and planners in executing our supply chain strategies and policies.

Key responsibilities include managing inventory optimization policies, addressing capacity trade-offs, and executing action plans in collaboration with Operations, Distribution, and Procurement. This position also involves reporting on service exceptions and overall business performance, while playing a pivotal role in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

Support Sales initiatives focused on business growth, capacity evaluations, and identifying opportunities for enhanced profitability. This role provides crucial insights to Operations and the broader business by offering a long-term perspective on capacity and inventory needs.

The Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager will play a vital leadership role in fostering a vision of supply chain agility and collaboration, driving alignment with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Customer Service, and Procurement.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of regional managers, planning managers, and planners.
• Collaborate with the Senior Demand Planning Manager to develop a comprehensive mid to long-term strategy.
• Oversee the Supply Phase of the S&OP Process, identifying capacity constraints or risks, and providing actionable recommendations to bridge gaps while coordinating cross-functional execution.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing the S&OP cadence, eliminating non-value-added tasks, and maintaining a results-driven focus.
• Manage inventory policies across distribution centers, driving inventory optimization while maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Assist supply chain leadership in formulating the Annual Operating Plan.
• Co-manage service levels, inventory strategies, and operating costs with Distribution to address any discrepancies. Provide logistics requirement estimates for warehousing and freight operations.
• Collaborate with Distribution and Logistics to develop replenishment plans and ensure effective execution across distribution centers while optimizing freight costs.

In alignment with the Supply Chain strategy, identify continuous improvement opportunities and execute relevant projects.

Conduct quarterly and yearly reviews of network capacity and execution to enhance the effectiveness of the go-to-market strategy, adapting to evolving business trends and dynamics.

WORK EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably within the Consumer Products sector.
• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning.
• Proven cross-functional leadership capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail; hands-on experience with ERP/Demand Planning systems is essential. Proficiency in MS Office is required, with experience in SAP and SAP/IBP being advantageous.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a related field.
• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
• Coaches and mentors a team of regional managers, planning managers, and planners.
