About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Scheduler to join our team in the construction industry. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and timely execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including all phases of the project lifecycle, using Primavera P6.
  • Coordinate with project managers, team members, and other stakeholders to gather all necessary information to report on project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and regularly update the status of project activities to ensure accurate tracking of project progress.
  • Identify and communicate potential delays or obstacles, and propose solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Perform critical path analysis to identify potential areas of concern and highlight these to the project team.
  • Prepare and present clear and detailed reports to stakeholders on the progress of the project.
  • Review and assess the impact of proposed changes on the overall project schedule.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure schedules are adhered to and updated as necessary.
  • Use project scheduling to optimize resources allocation and ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is a must.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and scheduling principles.
  • Rail scheduling experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve problems or discrepancies.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong team player, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
