Community Engagement Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:
The role involves leading various group activities each day designed to enhance tenant motivation, improve behavior both within the facility and in the surrounding community, and foster positive relationships. Engage with tenants through initiatives that emphasize positive reinforcement. Conduct sessions focused on maintaining independent living skills, as well as organizing recreational activities such as offsite excursions and game tournaments. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with hours set from:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
REQUIREMENTS:
A High School diploma or GED is mandatory. A Bachelor's degree in the arts is preferred. Prior experience working with clients facing mental illness and chemical addiction (MICA) in both individual and group settings is advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to exercise independent judgment. CPR certification or a willingness to complete CPR training is required. Basic computer skills are necessary.
*Vaccination is preferred but not mandatory.
