Role Summary:
The Sales & Front Desk Representative plays a crucial role at Scenthound, dedicated to promoting memberships while delivering outstanding service to every client.

Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience, particularly in membership sales
  • Background in customer service (retail or hospitality)
  • Proficient with technology and computer systems
  • A genuine love for dogs and their health and wellness
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Willingness to work in a smoke-free setting
Ideal Candidate:
We seek a driven team player who is passionate about sales and customer service. A successful Sales & Front Desk Representative is sociable, self-driven, a resourceful problem solver, and a caring dog enthusiast. We are looking for someone eager to grow their career through our training pathway to become a Scenthound Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote membership sales through education on health and wellness
  • Achieve key performance metrics, including average ticket price and rebooking rates through memberships, services, and retail sales
  • Generate membership leads and follow up with prospective members
  • Handle phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and maintain customer profiles
  • Oversee cash handling and manage the cash drawer
  • Manage customer expectations, address concerns, and retain memberships
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Scenter Manager
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Confidence in selling services and products
  • Ability to engage with customers (both canine and human) and deliver exceptional service
  • Willingness to learn about our offerings to educate dog owners and embody our values
  • Effective communication skills with team members and clients (in-person and via phone)
  • Capability to independently resolve issues using Scenthound values as a guide
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong time-management skills for efficient appointment scheduling
  • Accountability to uphold Scenthound standards
