Position Summary:
The Sales & Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role at Scenthound, dedicated to promoting memberships while delivering outstanding service to every client.

Ideal Candidate:
We seek a driven team member who is enthusiastic about sales and customer service. A successful Sales & Front Desk Associate is personable, self-driven, a resourceful problem solver, and a compassionate dog enthusiast. We are looking for someone eager to grow their career through our training program to become a Scenthound Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote membership sales through education on health and wellness
  • Achieve key performance metrics, including average ticket price and rebooking rates through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
  • Generate membership leads and follow up with prospective members
  • Handle phone inquiries, schedule customer appointments, and manage customer profiles and records
  • Oversee cash handling and manage the cash drawer
  • Set customer expectations, address concerns, and retain memberships
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area in accordance with Scenthound standards
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Confidence in selling services and products
  • Ability to engage with customers (both canine and human) and deliver exceptional service
  • Capacity to learn about our offerings and educate dog owners; articulate our values and culture as the foundation for our services
  • Effective communication skills with team members and dog owners (in-person and via phone)
  • Ability to independently resolve issues using Scenthound values and culture as a framework
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong time-management skills; efficiently schedule appointments
  • Accountability; uphold Scenthound standards for oneself and others
