We seek a driven team player who is passionate about sales and customer service. A successful Sales & Front Desk Associate is sociable, self-driven, an independent thinker, and a compassionate dog enthusiast. We are looking for someone eager to grow their career through our training program to become a Scenthound Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Promote membership sales through education on health and wellness
- Achieve key performance metrics, including average ticket price and rebooking rates through memberships, services, and retail sales
- Generate membership leads and follow up with prospective members
- Handle phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage customer profiles
- Oversee cash handling and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Manage customer expectations, address concerns, and retain memberships
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area according to Scenthound standards
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager
Skills and Competencies:
- Confidence in selling services and products
- Ability to engage with customers (both canine and human) and deliver exceptional service
- Capacity to learn about our offerings and educate dog owners, aligning with our values and culture
- Effective communication skills with team members and clients (in-person and via phone)
- Ability to independently resolve issues using Scenthound's values and culture as a framework
- Attention to detail
- Strong time-management skills; efficiently scheduling appointments
- Accountability; uphold Scenthound standards for oneself and others
