Business Development Manager

Rio Bank, a prominent South Texas bank, seeks an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join its team in McAllen, Texas. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and manage a robust portfolio of commercial clients while contributing to the bank's continued growth and success.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Rio Grande Valley market and be able to leverage their expertise to develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients. They will also be responsible for originating and closing commercial loans, as well as managing a portfolio of existing loans.
The Commercial Loan Officer will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless loan processing and customer satisfaction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Three to five years of commercial lending experience or a combination of experience and education.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a large commercial loan portfolio.
- Proven sales ability, effective interpersonal skills, keen problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to succeed.
- Willingness to participate in community events on behalf of the bank regularly.
- $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
