Manager of Technical Accounting

Key Responsibilities of the Manager of Technical Accounting:

  • Responsible for the preparation and review of external financial reports (SEC, US GAAP, IFRS), including the oversight of Form 10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filings, which encompass financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, statement of shareholders' equity, and statement of cash flows), footnote disclosures, and Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A).
  • Ensure adherence to SEC reporting regulations through the precise and timely submission of necessary documents.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and compliance of internal controls related to global accounting policies and new accounting and reporting standards issued by the FASB and the SEC.
  • Support the calculation of stock-based compensation and earnings per share.
  • Assist in preparing communications for senior management and the audit committee.
  • Prepare financials for press releases, including reconciliations from GAAP to Non-GAAP.
  • Continuously seek to improve and streamline reporting processes and controls.
  • Assist management in various corporate functions such as financial planning and analysis, investor relations, treasury, acquisition due diligence, and purchase accounting.
  • Lead and mentor team members.

Preferred Qualifications for the Manager of Technical Accounting:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • Over 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills, with proficiency in U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
