Business Development Representative

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive customer relationships, driving direct sales, and ensuring an overall superior customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Sales Growth: Establish and maintain quality customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service, establishing rapport, identifying and exceeding customer needs and expectations.
- Meet Sales Targets: Achieve customer retention goals and follow-up with consumers as required to close sales and meet/exceed revenue goals.
- Build Relationships: Build and maintain effective relationships with new and existing Business to Business (B2B) customers.
- Stay Informed: Acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge to articulate product features, benefits, pricing, and make recommendations to include core and innovative products.
- Collaborate with Team: Attend and actively participate in daily team meetings or relevant sales training to ensure appropriate sales techniques are used and accurate information communicated to customers.
- Visit Customers: Visit select customers once a year to establish strong personal relationships and understand customer business first-hand.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Physical Activity: Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device.
- Physical Demands: Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
- Lifting: May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs.
