Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. As a leader in our geotechnical engineering department, you will be responsible for business development, technical expertise, and project management.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the geotechnical engineering market.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop business development strategies.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical leadership and expertise in geotechnical engineering.
    • Develop and implement QA/QC programs and procedures.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee large-scale complex projects from start to finish.
    • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
    • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality project results.
  • Leadership and Supervision:
    • Mentor and develop junior engineers and project managers.
    • Provide guidance and support to project teams.
    • Embodies company values and promotes a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a related technical field.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Certifications: Registered RG, CEG, PE, GE or equivalent.
