Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. As a leader in our geotechnical engineering department, you will be responsible for business development, technical expertise, and project management.
Responsibilities- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the geotechnical engineering market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop business development strategies.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in geotechnical engineering.
- Develop and implement QA/QC programs and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
- Project Management:
- Oversee large-scale complex projects from start to finish.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality project results.
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and project managers.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams.
- Embodies company values and promotes a positive work environment.
- Education: Master's degree in a related technical field.
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Certifications: Registered RG, CEG, PE, GE or equivalent.
