Scheduler Experience/Training Required:


• A Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a construction setting.

Critical Skills:


• Proven expertise in modern planning and scheduling principles, methodologies, techniques, and tools.


• Proficiency in Primavera version 6, Suretrack, and Microsoft Project.


• Certification by AACE or PMI in planning/scheduling is preferred but not mandatory.


• Familiarity with planning control systems, automation, GAMP, Emerson & Delta V is advantageous.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Effective time management abilities.


• Capability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, including prioritizing tasks for various managers.


• Exceptional attention to detail.


• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations: (additional duties may be assigned as needed)

· Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules to ensure efficient project execution.

· Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for project team approval.

· Assess impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities, reporting findings to the project team.

· Monitor schedule deviations and variances, assisting in the development of corrective action methods.

· Prepare and deliver schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analyses periodically.

· Maintain records of scope changes, trends, and variances that may affect schedule performance.

· Ensure the credibility of the information contained in the schedule.

· Regularly review schedules with project team members to incorporate accurate and timely data.

· Analyze schedules from A/E firms, vendors, and general contractors.

· Verify schedule integrity and evaluate logic and float paths.

· Assess activity sequences for constructability.

· Recommend strategies to manage float and sequence activities to meet project milestone dates and interim target completion dates.

· Analyze change orders for their impact on the schedule.

· Resource load schedules as required by the project team.

· Conduct job-site walks to verify the physical progress of scheduled activities.

· Facilitate project scheduling meetings and/or interactive planning sessions as required.

· Participate in project meetings at the discretion of the project manager.

· Engage in departmental staff meetings.

· Adhere to departmental scheduling practices and procedures.

· At project completion, develop and document the project's historical schedule information and lessons learned for future reference.
