Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and specialized support for complex project control challenges.
  • Evaluate and forecast project status against established baseline schedules.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in P6 and manage content from third-party partners, ensuring adherence to schedule control guidelines.
  • Communicate schedule status to project and company management, as well as clients.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts.
  • Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts.
  • Customize project control systems to align with specific project needs.
  • Gather historical performance data to inform future planning and forecasting.
  • Oversee and evaluate the performance of junior Project Control Specialists.
  • Contribute to staffing discussions with senior project control staff.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as required for the role.
  • Utilize expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) for progress measurement.
  • Lead planning and scheduling initiatives, collaborating with partners to create system-based schedules early in the project lifecycle.
  • Support internal reporting calendars and requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Over 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related disciplines.
  • Strong proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing is essential.
