We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Scheduler to support a prominent solutions provider in the defense and critical infrastructure sectors. This role involves overseeing multiple construction sites and ensuring that project timelines are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and specialized support for complex project control challenges.
  • Analyze and forecast project status against established baseline schedules.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in P6 and manage content from third-party partners, ensuring effective schedule control and development of the Basis of Schedule (BOS).
  • Communicate schedule status to project and company management, as well as clients.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts.
  • Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and visual schedules.
  • Customize project control systems to align with specific project needs.
  • Gather historical performance data to support realistic future planning and forecasting.
  • Supervise and conduct performance evaluations for junior Project Control Specialists and support staff.
  • Contribute to staffing requirements discussions with senior project control staff.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required for this role.
  • Utilize expertise in Progress Measurement using Earned Value Management (EVM), including both quantity-based and financially-based EVM.
  • Lead planning and scheduling initiatives, collaborating with partners to develop system-based schedules early in the project lifecycle.
  • Support internal reporting calendars and requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Over 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related fields is required.
  • Proficient in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Industrial manufacturing experience is essential.
