Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Permit Operations Lead to join our team. This role involves overseeing the entire permit application process, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, strong communication capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of permit protocols.

  • Oversee the complete permit application lifecycle, which includes researching permit prerequisites, filling out application forms, collecting necessary documentation, and submitting applications to the appropriate authorities.
  • Ensure that all permit applications are thorough and precise, with all required documentation submitted to the relevant agencies.
  • Track the progress of permit applications and liaise with agencies as necessary to accelerate approval processes.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients regarding permit status, requirements, and updates.
  • Prepare reports on permit status and communicate updates to clients.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements within the permitting workflow to optimize efficiency and streamline operations.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in permit processing, construction management, project oversight, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction plans and the permitting process.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review and process intricate documents.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively within a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Google Workspace and database management systems.
