Key Responsibilities:

We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Permit Operations Lead to become an integral part of our team. This role involves overseeing and managing the entire permit application workflow, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, strong communication capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of permitting protocols.

  • Oversee the complete permit application workflow, which includes researching permit requirements, completing necessary application forms, collecting supporting documents, and submitting applications to the appropriate authorities.
  • Ensure that all permit applications are thorough and precise, with all requisite documentation submitted to the relevant agencies.
  • Track the progress of permit applications and liaise with agencies as necessary to expedite the approval process.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients regarding permit status, requirements, and updates.
  • Generate status reports on permit applications and provide timely updates to clients.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements within the permitting workflow, applying best practices to optimize efficiency and streamline operations.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in permit processing, construction administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction plans and permitting processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately review and process complex documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively within a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in various computer applications, including Google Workspace and database management systems.
