As a Sales Manager on our Local Sales Team, you will oversee a group of inside sales representatives who promote Yelp's advertising solutions to small local enterprises. In this capacity, you will mentor, develop, and inspire your team in a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment focused on cold calling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct coaching and constructive feedback to a team of Account Executives.
  • Guide, develop, and inspire your representatives to achieve top performance and emerge as future leaders.
  • Ensure your team communicates our products, policies, and pricing clearly and accurately to potential clients.
  • Conduct effective team meetings, one-on-one sessions, and group training.
  • Surpass monthly sales targets set for the team.
  • Implement strategic sales training, planning, and forecasting initiatives.

Qualifications for Success:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in effectively developing and managing inside sales teams in a high-volume, outbound sales context.
  • Proficient in selling digital products to small and medium-sized businesses and utilizing Salesforce CRM.
  • A proven track record of motivating a team to exceed revenue objectives.

  • Exceptional communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to empathize with, inspire, and connect with a diverse workforce and customer base.
  • Experience in developing sales strategies and analyzing performance metrics.
  • A Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of customer-facing experience with a high school diploma or GED.
