Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations related to gas construction initiatives. This position involves the implementation and management of cost control measures, ensuring that all financial reporting and scenario analyses are executed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage financial reporting for construction projects.
  • Develop and assess project estimates, schedules, and capital budgets.
  • Analyze monthly financial reports to monitor project costs and timelines.
  • Provide regular updates and status reports to management on project progress.
  • Support contract negotiations and maintain communication with contractors and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with cost and planning control policies.

Financial Forecasting and Budgeting:
  • Oversee the consolidation of capital expenditure forecasting and budgeting.
  • Compile and present monthly forecasting schedules to stakeholders.
  • Manage Out of Cycle (OOC) capital requests and lead monthly capital review meetings.

Economic Model Review:
  • Collaborate with business partners to analyze actuals and variance comments.
  • Update month-to-date spending in partnership with relevant teams.
  • Conduct recurring financial reporting activities.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Engage in various ad hoc financial activities as required.

Essential Skills:
  1. Proficient in SAP and Excel for financial reporting and forecasting.
  2. Experience managing capital budgets and forecasting across multiple business units.
  3. Ability to lead monthly capital review meetings ensuring SOX compliance.

Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on transparency.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in leading and managing meetings effectively.

Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis.

Industry Preference:
  • Experience in the power or utilities sector is advantageous.

Interview Process:
  • In-person interviews will be conducted as part of the selection process.

Work Schedule:
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
