Job Overview:

The Customer Service Representative III plays a crucial role in maintaining effective communication with clients in a professional and timely manner. This position is responsible for addressing inquiries, processing orders, and managing customer complaints. In addition to fulfilling all responsibilities of a CSR II, the CSR III supervises the daily operations of the customer service team under management's guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the supervisor/manager in fostering positive relationships with customers, ensuring all representatives handle complaints courteously and efficiently.
  • Gather customer feedback and regularly report findings to management, addressing any negative feedback promptly.
  • Assist in directing the daily tasks of Customer Service Representatives, including:
    • Coordinating daily workflows among team members.
    • Ensuring timely handling of product shipments.
    • Overseeing the efficient entry of inbound shipments into inventory.
    • Processing accurate customer invoicing, including recurring and special billing.
    • Maintaining accurate physical and cycle count inventories.
    • Managing adjustment orders effectively.
  • Resolve complex customer issues while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Provide training for new team members and offer performance feedback for CSR I and II.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all customer orders.
  • Maintain comprehensive metrics, records, and reports as required.
  • Act as a liaison between warehouse staff and customers, ensuring clear communication and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with administration to maintain adequate supply levels.
  • Audit productivity statistics to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Assist in the collection of overdue accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in customer service or inventory control within the distribution and logistics sector is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in data entry and advanced spreadsheet skills are required.
  • Ability to manage and resolve EDI issues effectively.
  • Good mathematical skills and attention to detail are critical.
  • Must be a team player and maintain confidentiality.
