Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing the previous shift's accomplishments and notes as necessary.
- Assessing the upcoming shift work schedule and making required adjustments.
- Assigning technicians to service orders based on their skill sets.
- Conducting job briefings with technicians for all assigned service orders.
- Prioritizing and organizing vehicle repair placements within the service center.
- Monitoring technician performance, including targeted completion times and client billable hours.
- Assisting technicians with emergency road service requests.
- Providing realistic repair time estimates for service orders.
- Reviewing technician parts and labor requests, as well as PM inspection reports.
- Authorizing technician labor hour guidelines on service orders as necessary.
- Tracking attendance and punctuality for all technicians.
- Overseeing break and lunch times to maintain shop efficiency.
- Participating in ongoing training and development.
