At Pacific Power Group LLC, we are dedicated to providing top-notch maintenance, repair, and overhaul services within the marine engine and backup power generation sectors. Our expert team, consisting of field service technicians, engineers, and workshop specialists, plays a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency across essential industries, including military, defense, and global supply chains.

Compensation: $30.00 to $41.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience, with an additional $1.50 per hour for fieldwork.
Travel Requirements: Up to 50% expected.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess unit condition through inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying any deficiencies.
  • Perform engine overhauls and other repairs as determined during diagnostics.
  • Ensure performance verification through test drives and sea trials, making necessary adjustments.
  • Manage costs by utilizing warranties and evaluating service and parts options.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle records documenting service and repairs.
  • Uphold a safe and organized work environment.
  • Take ownership of new requests and explore value-added opportunities.
  • Communicate professionally with customers on-site.
  • Conduct commissioning trials for MTU engines.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient with electrical multi-meters.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with large bore marine diesel engines.
  • Strong background in diesel engine electronic control systems.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with insurability.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Extensive experience with MTU systems.
  • Familiarity with Diasys software is preferred.
  • Experience with MTU MCS/RCS electronics.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
