Key Responsibilities
  • Address and resolve punch list items efficiently.
  • Assist in conducting final walkthroughs with clients.
  • Obtain signed Certificates of Completion and Satisfaction from clients.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings as needed.
  • Provide daily project updates to the Construction Coordinator in an electronic format.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and relay information to the Construction Coordinator.
  • Coordinate project schedules with the Construction Manager/Coordinator.
  • Perform necessary construction services as outlined in project specifications.
  • Support the management of subcontractors and material deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and local building codes.
  • Document all project activities, including photos and job diaries, using the ManageIT Mobile app.
  • Assist in managing change orders and maintaining quality standards through site inspections.
  • Evaluate and rate all vendors and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate inspections with local authorities.
  • Verify that material suppliers deliver the correct items as per purchase orders.
  • Assist in budget confirmation and ensure construction services are performed within budget constraints.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to purchase orders.
  • Validate project schedules and progress with the Construction Coordinator.
  • Identify and report any work outside the contracted scope.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience: Proven track record in customer service, with experience in restoration and/or construction preferred.

Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to perform various construction tasks as needed.


Physical Requirements

The role involves walking and standing for extended periods, frequent driving, and occasional ladder climbing. Employees may encounter extreme temperatures and loud noise levels at job sites, as well as exposure to power tools and machinery.


Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with working hours typically ranging from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The role may require additional hours, on-call duties, and weekend work to support emergency services. Local travel is necessary, with potential for some out-of-area and overnight travel.
