Our team consists of skilled technicians and engineers who are committed to delivering top-notch maintenance, repair, and overhaul services.

Compensation: $30.00 to $41.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, with an additional $1.50 per hour for fieldwork.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess unit condition through inspections and diagnostic evaluations, identifying any deficiencies.
  • Perform engine overhauls and necessary repairs as determined during diagnostics.
  • Verify engine performance through test drives and sea trials, making adjustments as required.
  • Manage costs effectively by utilizing warranties and evaluating service and parts options.
  • Maintain accurate records of service and repairs.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
  • Take ownership of new requests and explore opportunities for added value.
  • Communicate professionally with customers while on-site.
  • Conduct commissioning trials for MTU engines.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using electrical multi-meters.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with large bore marine diesel engines.
  • Strong background in diesel engine electronic control systems.
  • Competent in laptop and PC usage.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license with insurability.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Extensive experience with MTU systems.
  • Preferred familiarity with Diasys software.
  • Experience with MTU MCS/RCS electronics is a plus.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
