The Head of Strategic Partnerships in Life Sciences plays a crucial role in driving business growth by establishing and nurturing relationships within the Life Sciences sector. This position focuses on promoting our innovative diagnostic software aimed at enhancing patient outcomes for healthcare providers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Opportunity Identification: Actively seek new business prospects with both existing and potential pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical clients.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring all relevant opportunities are accurately tracked within the VisualDx CRM system.
- Opportunity Qualification: Assess pipeline opportunities to ensure they meet essential criteria, including need, timing, budget, and decision-making processes.
- Proposal Presentation: Deliver compelling business proposals to persuade decision-makers at various levels of the organization.
- Business Case Development: Articulate a strong business case that aligns with customer needs identified during the qualification process.
- Customer Needs Alignment: Understand and align customer business requirements with our product solutions.
- Sales Closure: Achieve timely sales closures to meet both individual and team objectives.
- Process Improvement: Recommend best practices to enhance the development of pharmaceutical business strategies.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of sales data and customer interactions in the CRM.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key decision-makers to determine the suitability of VisualDx solutions for addressing specific business challenges.
- Solution Description: Clearly communicate how our solutions meet both business and technical requirements.
- Scope and Cost Alignment: Ensure alignment of project scope, timelines, and costs.
- Corporate Positioning: Effectively convey our unique qualifications and corporate overview.
- Product Information Dissemination: Provide accurate and relevant product information to the medical community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a scientific field; medical or healthcare focus preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in solution-oriented sales or relationship management within the healthcare sector, specifically in Life Sciences.
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas ranging from $1.5M to $4M.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
