Position Overview

The Head of Strategic Partnerships in Life Sciences is accountable for driving business growth through the development of new revenue streams within the Life Sciences sector. The primary focus will be on cultivating relationships and enhancing sales of our diagnostic software, which aims to improve patient outcomes for healthcare clients on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively seek new business opportunities with both existing and potential Pharma and Cosmeceutical clients.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, meticulously tracking the sales process, contacts, and relevant opportunities using the VisualDx CRM system.
  • Opportunity Qualification: Ensure that all opportunities in the pipeline meet essential criteria, including need, timing, budget, capability alignment, decision-making processes, and implementation timelines.
  • Effective Presentations: Deliver compelling business proposals to persuade decision-makers at various levels regarding the value of our solutions over competitors.
  • Business Case Development: Create and present business cases that resonate with customer needs as identified during the qualification stage.
  • Customer Needs Alignment: Understand and align customer business requirements with our product solutions.
  • Sales Closure: Successfully close sales in a timely manner to achieve quarterly individual and team objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and recommend best practices for enhancing Pharma business operations.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales data and customer interactions within the CRM.
  • Solution Positioning: Collaborate with key decision-makers to assess whether VisualDx and its offerings are suitable solutions for identified business challenges.
  • Scope and Cost Alignment: Clearly define the scope, schedule, and budget for proposed solutions.
  • Corporate Representation: Effectively communicate our unique qualifications and corporate profile.
  • Product Information Dissemination: Provide accurate and relevant product information to the medical community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a scientific field; medical or healthcare background preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution-oriented sales or relationship management within the healthcare industry, specifically in Life Sciences.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas ranging from $1.5M to $4M.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales targeting the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Physical Requirements
