X4 Life Sciences is collaborating with a dynamic biotechnology firm that is advancing into the clinical phase. They are seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to guide the team through this pivotal transition.

Position Overview:

In the role of Director of Clinical Operations, you will be responsible for the effective onboarding of new clients and will lead initiatives aimed at improving clinical processes, patient services, and implementation assistance. Your role will involve providing strategic oversight and leadership to achieve operational excellence while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the strategic planning and execution of onboarding and implementation processes for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and successful setup.
  • Oversee a portfolio of significant health system clients, managing implementation projects and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
  • Enhance client engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty during the implementation phase through strategic communication and proactive feedback collection.
  • Address go-live escalations, mitigate risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proactive solutions.
  • Work alongside sales, customer success, product, engineering, and supply chain teams to scale the company's solutions and maintain operational consistency across the client base.
  • Supervise logistics operations, collaborating with the supply chain and other internal departments to streamline processes.
  • Lead the development and distribution of client-facing materials, documentation, and implementation resources to optimize the onboarding process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in clinical sciences or a related discipline.
  • More than 10 years of experience in clinical product support, clinical operations, and management within the medical device sector.
  • Demonstrated success in formulating ramp-up strategies for early-stage companies, including clinical support strategy, recruitment, budgeting, and executing plans to deliver exceptional client support.
  • Experience with the implementation of Remote Patient Monitoring systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulations and compliance requirements for class II medical devices.
