Customer Development Manager

At SAS Retail Services, we're dedicated to growing people, brands, and businesses. We're seeking a highly skilled Customer Development Manager to drive sales growth in their assigned territory, markets, and regions through effective relationships with Store Operations personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase sales volume and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in assigned stores, markets, and regions.
  • Collaborate with Retail Supervisors to enhance the effectiveness of sales teams across the area and region.
  • Act as an account manager for assigned retail merchandising accounts, driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to grow sales of incremental display locations, execute plan-o-gramed locations, and maintain in-stock conditions.
  • Follow sales call standards and orchestrate call coverage plans to meet business needs of clients and retail customers.
  • Complete accurate and timely paperwork, reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, and expense reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing key accounts in the retail or consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Demonstrated history of building effective cross-functional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Decision-making skills and ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and web browsers.
