The Anesthesia Technology Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the operational aspects of the Anesthesia Technicians. This position is responsible for managing the daily activities and ensuring the effective functioning of the anesthesia support team.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of experience in anesthesia support or certification as a Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer. A.T.) by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT).
- Alternatively, candidates may possess LPN or EMT-P credentials with at least three years of experience in an anesthesia support capacity, or EMT-B, CNA, CMA, or CCMA with a minimum of five years in a similar role.
- Current BLS certification is mandatory.

Experience:
Required:
- At least three to five years of experience in a medical support role within Anesthesia.

Preferred:
- Over five years of experience as a Certified Anesthesia Technician or in a supportive role within an anesthesia department.
- A minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity.

Education/Training:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of training as CAT, EMT-P, LPN, EMT-B, CMA, CCMA, or CNA within 24 months of hire.

Preferred:
- Training in Conflict Resolution.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field.

Independent Actions Required:
- Ability to prioritize staff activities while effectively communicating with anesthesia providers regarding operational needs and expectations.
- Responsible for the oversight and management of cleaning all airway equipment, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of Anesthesia Technicians.

Additional Position Requirements:
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as providing oversight during off-shifts when necessary.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift less than 20 lbs.

Activities:
- Prolonged standing and sitting, frequent bending, walking distances, climbing, and reaching.

Mental/Sensory Requirements:
- Strong recall, reasoning, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.

Emotional Requirements:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to frequent changes.
