Key Responsibilities

The Director of Market Access for North America will spearhead the market access strategy and execution for Immunocore's flagship product, KIMMTRAK, while also providing insights for our early-stage pipeline.

This role involves leading the Field Market Access Team and developing a comprehensive US market access strategy that engages all relevant stakeholders to ensure patient access.

Responsibilities include:

  • Directing a field-based team of National Account Managers and Reimbursement, Access, and Policy Managers focused on securing patient access to our primary commercial asset.
  • Formulating and implementing the US commercial market access strategy that addresses all key stakeholders affecting product access.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to refine each product's value proposition.
  • Conducting market research to understand payer needs and trends, ensuring long-term commercial viability.
  • Creating and updating market access marketing materials for the Field Market Access and Field Account Managers.
  • Building and negotiating relationships with public and private payers to enhance product access.
  • Partnering with US Medical Affairs to influence Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy.
  • Setting annual objectives for the Field Market Access Team and mentoring team members.
  • Engaging with policymakers and regulators to advocate for stakeholder interests.
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain to guarantee the availability of Immunocore's therapies.
  • Assisting in the development of pricing and contracting strategies for each product.
  • Ensuring compliance with government pricing regulations.
  • Working with IT to identify data requirements for market access operations.
Performance Monitoring

Developing and tracking key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of market access initiatives is essential. This includes:

  • Monitoring the evolving reimbursement landscape and keeping senior leadership informed.
  • Adhering to regulatory and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector, with a strong background in US payer, reimbursement, pricing, or health economics.
  • Established relationships with payers and GPOs.
  • Experience in commercial market access, particularly in oncology.
  • A deep understanding of the US reimbursement landscape and healthcare policy.
  • Experience across various market channels.
