Position Overview

Purpose of the Role

The Head of Brand Strategy & Communications is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the organization's branding, media relations, social media initiatives, and creative services. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of inclusivity within Inteleos Inc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the organization’s objectives, enhances brand recognition, and ensures a cohesive approach to both long-term and short-term communication initiatives.
  • Ensure a consistent brand identity across all communication channels, collaborating with various teams to ensure messaging reflects the organization’s values and resonates with target demographics.
  • Lead the organization’s social media strategy, focusing on planning and implementation to maximize organic engagement and brand visibility, while ensuring the production of multimedia content that is relevant and engaging.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality content, including press releases and multimedia materials, ensuring all outputs are compelling and consistent with the organization's brand messaging.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers; respond to media inquiries promptly to ensure accurate representation of the organization.
  • Design and implement internal communication strategies that promote a cohesive organizational culture, keeping employees informed and engaged.
  • Develop and regularly update crisis communication plans to safeguard the organization’s reputation during challenging times, acting as a spokesperson when necessary.
  • Establish and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) to enhance the effectiveness of communication and branding strategies.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a talented communications team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Implement effective project management processes to ensure timely delivery of creative materials, establishing clear workflows and communication channels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align creative initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring the integration of creative services into the overall communication strategy.
  • Work closely with the brand strategy team to translate messaging into visually compelling content, enforcing consistent application of visual elements to strengthen the brand identity.
  • Diversify content types to cater to various communication channels and target audiences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position is based in an office setting or an approved remote location. It may require occasional evening and weekend hours, as well as travel. Minimal physical demands are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years in a Creative Director or Visual Brand Manager role.
  • At least seven years of experience in senior-level communications and brand strategy.
  • A minimum of five years in a management capacity.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
