Service Desk Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Technician to join our team at American Systems. As a Service Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with assigned software application problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person
  • Resolve user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal support staff to ensure accurate problem interpretation
  • Install, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows servers and other computer-related equipment problems

Requirements:

  • 1+ years' experience in a Service Desk environment
  • DoD 8570 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
