Job DescriptionIndustrial Maintenance Technician - Day Shift
Attractive starting salary with quarterly performance bonuses and benefits available from day one.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Work hours are from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with an additional 7 hours on Friday; flexibility for overtime is required based on operational needs.

We provide comprehensive rolling stock and infrastructure solutions, catering to both domestic and international railroad clients. Our clients benefit from a one-stop-shop experience, encompassing everything from locomotives and freight cars to tracks and advanced technological systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute emergency and reactive repairs on production machinery and perform follow-up assessments to evaluate repair effectiveness;
  • Maintain equipment in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance program and maintenance work orders;
  • Oversee facility maintenance tasks;
  • Complete and submit maintenance documentation while proposing new improvement opportunities for review;
  • Offer solutions to unexpected equipment downtime through design modifications, inspection methods, or condition monitoring;
  • Diagnose issues and repair or replace components related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems;
  • Interpret equipment manuals, design schematics, and electrical diagrams to perform both reactive and preventative maintenance;
  • Assist in implementing 5S methodologies to enhance productivity and maintain a safe, efficient work environment;
  • Adhere to all safety, OSHA, and environmental regulations.

Education and Training
  • Associates or Vocational degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a combination of education and experience.

Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or maintenance;
  • Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems;
  • Demonstrated fabrication and welding skills;
  • Proven track record in industrial maintenance;
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement;
  • Ability to identify and requisition replacement parts;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Eagerness to learn new techniques and processes;
  • Proficient computer skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Capacity to work responsively to meet production schedules;
  • Willingness to support maintenance activities across different shifts and weekends as required;
  • Effective verbal and written communication with operators, supervisors, and management;
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions.
