Key Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to maximize its lifespan and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices to ensure regulatory compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; mechanical maintenance certificate preferred.
- 1 year of experience in an industrial environment, with a strong work record.
- Intermediate to advanced level of understanding of mechanical maintenance, and knowledge of machines and tools.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to heat, cold, wet, and dry conditions. The ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects is required, as well as the ability to climb, bend, and twist. The role may also require travel to other facilities, up to 20% of the time.
