Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, installation, adjustment, and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and facility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct repairs using various tools and equipment.
  • Assemble and maintain electrical components and plumbing systems.
  • Diagnose malfunctions through observation and testing.
  • Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and order replacements as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • 1-2 years of experience in industrial repair and facilities maintenance.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge Areas
    • Understanding of production processes and quality control.
    • Mechanical and electrical knowledge, including wiring and machinery maintenance.
    • Familiarity with construction methods and safety protocols.
  • Skills
    • Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and comprehension of technical documents.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
    • Capability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
    • Willingness to stand for extended periods.
