Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, installation, adjustment, and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal operating conditions of machinery and facility systems.
- Repair and maintain machines and equipment using various tools and instruments.
- Assemble and install electrical components and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose malfunctions through observation and testing.
- Perform cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments on machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of parts and materials used.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of industrial repair and maintenance experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in maintenance management software and MS Office.
- Knowledge Areas: Understanding of production processes, mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and safety protocols.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and equipment maintenance abilities.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
