About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
  • Observe devices in operation to locate root cause of problems and perform repairs
  • Examine parts to detect imperfections and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
  • Repair and/or replace defective parts and test devices to observe performance
  • Perform tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems and recondition and repair machine tools
  • Support and back up other team members as directed by leadership
  • Provide assistance (mentorship) to lower-level technicians and leadership to small teams
  • Perform advanced maintenance functions as part of training and development
  • Update records in CMMS
  • Assure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards
  • Provide inputs in CI activities-processes, results, and cost savings
  • Set up and operate simple machining operations including but not limited to lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts
  • Perform basic welding tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance
  • EPA Universal HVAC Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions

This role requires working in a factory environment, which can be loud and physically demanding. You will be required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces, and talk or hear. You will occasionally be required to sit and may be exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
