Job Summary

The LaSalle Group is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to registration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Patient Inquiries: Respond to patient calls, emails, and in-person visits, providing accurate and timely information regarding services and procedures.
  • Coordinate Appointments: Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing wait times.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations, safeguarding patient privacy and protecting sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with various departments to streamline patient flow, resolve issues, and improve overall patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Healthcare Experience: Bring relevant healthcare experience, with a strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and regulations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in computer systems, with the ability to navigate electronic medical records and other software applications.
  • Organizational Abilities: Possess strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
