GPAC is proud to partner with a reputable Trust Company to find a skilled Trust Officer.

This hybrid role offers a unique blend of administrative and technical responsibilities, requiring a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret trust documents, ensuring accurate administration of personal trusts.
  • Coordinate tax returns with external preparers and conduct account reviews.
  • Analyze and interpret common legal documents, including Wills, Trusts, and Estate planning documents.
  • Triage new business inquiries, providing summary reports and account updates.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
  • Understand customer account statements and basic investment theory and strategy.
  • Provide administrative support to the team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a paralegal or financial services role.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • JD (preferred) with Estate planning experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ability to learn FIS/Charlotte/Sungard database software.
  • Ability to work with minimal administrative support.
