Trust Officer

GPAC is proud to partner with a reputable Trust Company to find a skilled Trust Officer.
This hybrid role offers a unique blend of administrative and technical responsibilities, requiring a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret trust documents, ensuring accurate administration of personal trusts.
- Coordinate tax returns with external preparers and conduct account reviews.
- Analyze and interpret common legal documents, including Wills, Trusts, and Estate planning documents.
- Triage new business inquiries, providing summary reports and account updates.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
- Understand customer account statements and basic investment theory and strategy.
- Provide administrative support to the team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a paralegal or financial services role.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- JD (preferred) with Estate planning experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ability to learn FIS/Charlotte/Sungard database software.
- Ability to work with minimal administrative support.
