Job Overview

Cottingham & Butler is on the lookout for a skilled and strategic Client Relationship Manager to serve as an outsourced risk advisor for our esteemed clients and prospects. This role is crucial in overseeing and supporting current accounts while also fostering future business opportunities. The ideal candidate will spearhead risk evaluation through our Risk Management Assessment process. As a representative of Cottingham & Butler, this position embodies teamwork, innovation, and a positive mindset.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main contact for all inquiries and requests from clients.
  • Engage in discussions with clients to pinpoint and rectify coverage gaps, ensuring thorough account oversight.
  • Deliver pre-renewal and renewal strategies to clients, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of their requirements.
  • Prepare and present detailed marketing submissions and proposals for both new and renewal accounts.
  • Draft and communicate a written service timeline and value proposition, emphasizing our dedication to client satisfaction during annual stewardship meetings.
  • Ensure policy accuracy and alignment with proposed coverages, providing reassurance to our clients.
  • Respond swiftly to inquiries from our internal team, client contacts, and carrier partners, adhering to a 24-hour response commitment.
  • Proactively communicate with clients and insurers on various topics, including coverages, rates, policy modifications, audits, dividends, and billing matters.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of valid state-issued insurance licenses in the jurisdictions where clients or prospects are located.
  • Responsible for maintaining license status through ongoing education and professional development.
