Role Overview

Our Pest Management Technicians play a crucial role in our operations, embodying the essence of our service. This position focuses on delivering exceptional service to our valued clients through the application of Terminix products.

A Typical Day

Equipped with a company vehicle and top-notch industry training, our Pest Technicians engage with residential clients, performing necessary exclusion services. Here’s what you can expect on a daily basis:

  • Setting up and constructing exclusion traps, cutting flashing, and shaping hardware cloth to meet specifications.
  • Safely removing animals from exclusion devices.
  • Utilizing safety harnesses when working from rooftops as required for exclusion services and wildlife removal.
  • Engaging with clients to explain the services rendered.
  • Completing production forms to document the services provided.

Qualifications for Success

  • A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are essential.
  • Three to six months of relevant exclusion experience and/or training, along with six months of experience using hand tools and related equipment. The following attributes are equally important:
  • You possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy customer interaction.
  • You are self-driven with a robust work ethic.
  • You can effectively communicate information to clients in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • You are detail-oriented and prioritize safety.
  • You have a good grasp of basic math, necessary for service-related calculations.
  • Comfort in working outdoors and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces is essential.
  • For safety reasons, our Pest Technicians must be clean-shaven to ensure respirators seal properly.
