Role Overview

Our Pest Technicians play a crucial role in our operations, embodying the essence of our service. Their primary focus is to deliver exceptional service and solutions to our valued clients.

A Typical Day in This Role

Equipped with a company vehicle and comprehensive training, our Pest Technicians travel through neighborhoods, visiting residential clients and executing requested exclusion services. Here are some key responsibilities you would undertake daily:

  • Setting up and constructing exclusion traps, cutting flashing, and shaping hardware cloth to specifications.
  • Safely removing animals captured in exclusion devices.
  • Utilizing safety harnesses when working from rooftops as required for exclusion services and wildlife removal.
  • Engaging with clients to explain the services rendered.
  • Completing production forms to document the services provided.

Qualifications for Success

  • A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are essential.
  • Three to six months of relevant exclusion experience and/or training, along with six months of experience using hand tools and related equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of customer interaction.
  • Self-motivated with a robust work ethic.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to clients in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Attention to detail and a strong understanding of safety protocols.
  • Basic math skills for performing service-related calculations.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
  • Due to safety regulations, our Pest Technicians must be clean-shaven to ensure proper respirator fit.
