About the Role

BRIA is seeking a skilled Infection Control Nurse to join our team. As an Infection Control Nurse, you will play a critical role in preventing healthcare-associated infections within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement infection prevention strategies to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to monitor and guide infection prevention practices.
  • Design and deliver educational programs to promote infection prevention awareness and best practices.
  • Train and evaluate nursing staff on infection prevention protocols.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans in collaboration with allied health team members.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in infection prevention and control.
  • Nursing management experience is highly desirable.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois.
  • No history of abuse or misconduct.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience as a wound care nurse and/or infection prevention specialist.
